Kim Tate’s d.e.a.d.l.y revenge plan for Dawn and it won’t end well
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Kim Tate will take revenge on her stepdaughter Dawn Taylor and expose her m.u.r.d.e.r of DI Malone to the police in upcoming scenes
Emmerdale fans are convinced that the iconic character Kim Tate is plotting her revenge on Dawn Taylor, and they predict it won’t end well.
Dawn (played by Olivia Bromley) first appeared on the ITV soap in 2018 and quickly became embroiled in several major storylines in the renowned village.
Particularly this year, when she shocked viewers by beginning an affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who returned to the show after a six-year absence.
Dawn found herself falling for the villainous Joe, and the feelings were mutual. However, last week, Joe’s deceptions were revealed, making him the village’s most despised individual.
As fans will remember, Joe inadvertently caused the limo crash that resulted in the tragic d.e.a.t.h.s of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson), reports Leicestershire Live.
In desperate need of a kidney, Joe managed to steal his uncle Caleb’s (William Ash) organ. The truth was eventually revealed during a party at Home Farm earlier this month.
In a shocking turn of events, Joe was pushed out of a window by an unknown person. It was later disclosed that Joe was in a coma due to a brain haemorrhage.
A number of residents became suspects, and it was finally confirmed that Dawn was the one who pushed Joe – something he remembered upon waking up but told Dawn he forgave her and still loved her.
Joe’s step-grandmother, Kim Tate (played by Claire King), discovered the near-fatal incident involving Dawn and now, Emmerdale fans are convinced she’s plotting a calculated revenge.
On an Emmerdale fan page on Facebook, speculations are rife that Kim might spill to the coppers about Dawn’s dark secret—the slaying of DI Mark Malone back in 2020.
At that time, the crooked copper had tried to manipulate Dawn into an overdose after she blew the whistle on his seedy activities and secret fling.
Yet, Dawn turned the tables and fatally shot him with the very pistol he had pressed upon her to end her life. With Dawn’s dad and Kim’s spouse, Will (Dean Andrews), at her side, they concealed the d.e.a.d man and Kim ensured the corpse was “dealt with”—entombed within the confines of Home Farm.
The audience is abuzz with the possibility of Kim blowing the lid off the whole scandal, putting Dawn behind bars for m.u.r.d.e.r. A fan speculated: “I think Kim’s waiting to go for the best time to be the ruthless Kim we all know and love. Remember she knows about the policeman Dawn m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d….”
Echoing this theory, another added their voice: “I thought this as well!” And another agreed, adding: “That’s a great shout tbf. She helped cover it up but Kim could easily get out of it if she told the police.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
