Lust turns to more for cheating EastEnders couple as one declares their love
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is caught between several of her many lovers in EastEnders next week.
It all kicks off when David Wicks (Michael French) makes a big return to Albert Square.
Things could turn quite awkward for them both, given he presumed she was killed in prison in 1998 whilst serving a sentence for trying to have then-husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) murdered.
As we all now know, she was actually placed in a witness protection scheme. Here she forged a new life as Rose Knight, wife to George Knight (Colin Salmon) and mother to his daughters Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford).
Of course, the reason she plotted his death in the first place was so that she could have her happy ever after with David.
Rattled by his presence, Cindy opens up to George and he advises her to confront him face on. They soon catch-up on the events of the last two decades.
Later, Ian tells son Peter Beale (Thomas Law) and his girlfriend Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) that he planned to propose to Cindy, but fumbled it. He’s also horrified to learn from Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) that her dad is back in Walford.
Has David’s presence caused him to become concerned about what their future might hold?
Whilst the rest of the week remains under wraps, we do know that Cindy is forced to juggle several tricky situations!
Little does she know, Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), her former stepson and current fling, is also contemplating his next moves with her.
He opens up to George about his mystery woman, and admits that what started out as nothing has developed into something far more serious – and that he hopes she feels the same way as he does.
There’s no way the two could ever be together without serious repercussions for both the Beale and Knight clan.
What will Cindy do?
