It’s been a dramatic week for Teddy and Nicola Mitchell in EastEnders, and it looks like things aren’t slowing down anytime soon. The disappearance of Harry’s ex girlfriend Shireen has been brought back to the limelight, and although her brother Asad blames Teddy, fans know Nicola is behind what happened.

On Monday night, fans were introduced to Benji, and it was revealed he was involved, having either helped Nicola cover up the ‘m.u.r.d.e.r’ of Shireen, or he did the work for her. He revealed he’d buried Shireen’s body at a disused estate, before covering up what had happened to her.

Now, Teddy and Junior Knight’s new business plan Paradise Park is focused around a particular location in Dartford, where her body is buried. Of course, Nicola put in her best efforts to put Teddy off the idea.

Although Nicola thought she had been successful, and had even reignited her romance with Teddy, at the end of Wednesday’s episode, he was heard ringing up Junior, saying he was in.

However, fans are now fearing for Teddy after Nicola finds out his secret, fearing she may frame him. “I’d love for the body to be found & the truth about Barney to come out & to watch her world crumble around her. As long as if & when body is discovered it doesn’t somehow frame Teddy given everyone’s been made to think it’s him in the first place,” penned one viewer.

Another said: “Nicola has Teddy right where she wants him.” Others claimed that Nicola will do ‘whatever it takes’ to keep her secret hidden.

Earlier on in the episode, Nicola overheard Teddy telling ex Sharon Watts he still cares about her despite being intimate with Nicola the night before – could she be plotting her revenge? Right now, Sharon believes that Teddy is a k.i.l.l.e.r – but fans insist that once Sharon finds out the truth about Shireen, she’ll take him back. How far will Nicola go to make sure the truth is hidden?

In scenes fans deemed as ‘cringe’ on Tuesday, Nicola was seen ‘flashing’ Junior when he came round to ask Teddy about the business deal. “Nicola making sure Junior gets an eyeful – bet I know where that’s going!” exclaimed one, while another predicted: “Given that Cindy had an affair with Junior to make George jealous – I can literally see the writers going down this route with Junior & Nicola.”
