Major couple’s reunion hopes dashed in Emmerdale ahead of shock discovery

Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) was full of hope in Emmerdale tonight as Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) invited him back to Home Farm.
The beloved character was utterly heartbroken a few days ago when Dawn announced their relationship had come to an end.
Due to the fact Billy didn’t really accept Dawn’s reasoning for their breakup, he began to wonder if she was having an affair.
This is true, but Billy accused Ross (Michael Parr) of sleeping with his wife and not the real culprit – Joe (Ned Porteous).
Yesterday, Dawn raced to the hospital after learning Evan was there. Billy had taken Lucas, Clemmie and the baby to see his brother in London, but Evan got a temperature and fell ill on the way back.
Due to the fact Evan has a weak immune system, he had to go to hospital, leaving Billy in a complete state.
When Dawn arrived, she did her best to reassure Billy and told him Evan’s temperature isn’t his fault. Her words helped Billy, and he told Dawn that he’s glad they’re at the hospital together.
As Dawn entered Home Farm in tonight’s episode, she failed to spot the display Joe had created for her and Evan. She was incredibly preoccupied and also exhausted after spending the night in a ward.
Following behind Dawn was Billy. She explained to Joe that Billy will be staying for a few nights, just until Evan starts to feel better.
Sadly, Billy misinterpreted the situation and started to wonder if Dawn might be missing him. They had been behaving and communicating as though their break-up never happened, and it left Billy hopeful something might change.
Upcoming episodes of the ITV soap will confirm Dawn has no intention of getting back with Billy. Shortly after Clemmie catches Dawn kissing Joe, he threatens the young girl in an attempt to keep her quiet.
Clemmie will break down in tears and eventually, Billy finds her. He gently pushes for information and it isn’t long until she tells him everything – including seeing Dawn and Joe together.
It leaves Billy a very angry man indeed. How far will he go to get revenge?
