As Amy Wyatt’s (Natalie Ann Jamieson) hen do got underway in Emmerdale, overbearing mum Kerry (Laura Norton) began to make it all about her – and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) wasn’t happy!

The cheeky Geordie returned to the eponymous village last month after being kicked off the cruise liner she was working on following allegations she’d been stealing jewellery from the passengers.

Kerry had been performing as a Cher tribute act during her time on deck and when she returned home in the back of PC Swirling’s (Andy Moore) cop car, was still donning the costume.

Since then she’s continued to be a domineering character in daughter Amy’s life and has come to blows with neighbour Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) over her relationship with Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb).

In tonight’s (5th April) instalment of the ITV soap, she continued to make her presence known once again ahead of Amy’s wedding to Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano).

As the women headed to The Hide bistro for the hen do, Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) was dismayed to see Kerry donning her Cher costume again.

Further fury ensued when she revealed she’d booked naked butlers to serve drinks at the event, and when the karaoke machine was brought out, you better believe that she saw it as an opportunity to perform!

Poor Amy let her mum enjoy herself, but the other women wondered whether she’d taken a step too far.

As a result, a drunken Moira cornered her and asserted that if she messed up the big day, she’d have her to answer to.

Despite saying she was joking, Kerry wondered whether there was some truths being spilled from the alcohol.

Will Amy and Matty’s big day go without a hitch?
