Multiple lives will be lost in limousine lake crash scenes, Emmerdale director confirms
Emmerdale director Vicky Thomas has confirmed that more than one life will be lost in the upcoming limousine lake crash.
This week and next week, two limousines will suffer a crash but one crash looks set to be a little more deadly than the other as the vehicle sinks into a frozen lake.
And, in what will be a huge stunt for the soap, not everyone will survive the ordeal… Proper edge of your seat stuff, this is!
Emmerdale: Limousine lake crash rocks the Dales
Next week’s Emmerdale spoilers reveal a huge and very dramatic stunt will take place in the village as two limousines crash.
One limousine has a group of male villagers inside, crashing as Caleb’s anger over his brother Cain’s fling with wife Ruby gets in between him and his control of the steering wheel.
In the other limo, Charity drives a group of female villagers on a night out – but, she soon swerves and crashes the vehicle.
One of the limousines ends up sinking into a frozen lake full of dangerous ice as the injured party attempts to save themselves and their friends. It’s unclear whether the boys or the girls are inside this limo…
But, no matter who is inside which limo, it’s clear that there’s going to be lots of blood and lots of injuries… and a couple of deaths thrown in too.
Soap director Vicky Thomas confirms multiple limo crash deaths
With many villagers facing huge danger, Emmerdale director Vicky Thomas has now confirmed that not everyone will survive.
Yes, finally a huge soap stunt where characters actually d.i.e… Scary.
It sounds to be edge-of-your-seat stuff, but which characters’ time in the village will come to an abrupt end?
Vicky teased: “I think the things that happen in these episodes are totally different to what the characters have gone through before. It was a nice change. Obviously we still have the punch-ups and all the rest of it, but in these episodes there’s a lot of bravery and people saving other people – it is very heartfelt stuff, very high emotions.
“I think the audience will see the characters in ways that they have never seen before. And the repercussions of what happens over this night will go on for a very long time. And I think some things will even change forever from them. As there are some who do not make it because of what happens to them.”
