Things are getting a bit testy amongst the Emmerdale villagers, with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) knowing Caleb Miligan’s (Will Ash) m.u.r.d.e.r secret and Caleb knowing about Joe being the true cause of the limo crash with his organ harvesting plot.

Something has to give, and Caleb is hellbent on being the last man standing. Joe, meanwhile, isn’t helping himself much, with the circle of people wanting him d.e.a.d ever increasing.

Caleb attempted to enlist Cain’s help in offing his enemy and Cain refused, but Caleb will not be stopped.

But with so many secrets flying around, it’s hard to keep things straight, and one little slip up sets some major wheels in motion.

Ruby (Beth Cordingly) is the one to make the faux pas and lets on that she knows something about Noah’s (Jack Downham) spiking to Charity (Emma Atkins).

Charity backs her into a corner and Ruby has no choice but to reveal all – that Joe spiked him and ultimately caused the d.e.a.t.h.s of three women – not Charity.

Savvy Charity then puts the rest of the puzzle together and realises it’s Joe who stole Caleb’s kidney.

Charity is in the circle wanting rid of Joe and now her hatred is at catastrophic levels. Ruby’s small slip of the tongue could spell the end for Mr Tate.Billy (Jay Kontzle) is another one who would like to see him six feet under having orchestrated the demise of his family.

Ruby and Caleb are secretly pleased to sit back and dust their hands of the fight while Charity and Billy take things forward for them.

The next day Noah catches Charity up to something and she boldly reveals her revenge plan. Noah is left processing what Joe did to him and the implications that the three d.e.a.t.h.s were not his fault after all.

Will it ultimately be Noah who brings Joe down?
