Secrets, lies and revelations are the order of the day in next week’s EastEnders.

With the mystery of Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) attack continuing, suspicions grow in the Knight family.

And what follows is shocking news. But will the clan unite? And what is Cindy planning?

Meanwhile, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) continues to behave in secret, and he plots to make big gestures to struggling Billy (Perry Fenwick).

Elsewhere, with the market in jeopardy, Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) goes all out to put things right.

Easier said than done…

Monday January 27

Martin is cold with Ruby after how she dealt with Councillor Barker. Later, Barker announces the council will keep the market open but it doesn’t change Martin’s stance.

In a bid to prove him wrong, Ruby finds Barker and tries to put things right. Celebrations commence until Martin is called to his stall where vengeful Barker is closing it down for an alleged health and safety violation.

Anna remains deeply suspicious of Gina, particularly when she sees her having another secretive chat with Harry.

Elsewhere, Junior is devastated when Monique cuts off his access to Xavier because he’s a suspect in an attempted m.u.r.d.e.r case. Later, things come to a head in The Vic when Junior exposes a shocking secret about Gina.

Billy is excitedly wedding planning by announcing his best man, organising a disco and ordering a barbecue. But his delight is short-lived when Honey realises that he’s made a costly mistake.

Tuesday January 28

As fingers are pointed at Gina, George steps in to defend his daughter. Accusations fly as Gina tries to explain herself to her shocked family. Later, Ian smugly tells Elaine he plans to ring the police to report Gina.

Elsewhere, Anna feels comforted and supported by Freddie and they finally give into their feelings for each other.

Martin is furious at Ruby, but Stacey speaks up for her. Things get even worse for Martin when he goes to tell Ian what’s happened, only to be met by total indifference.

Martin is devastated that even Ian doesn’t care about the legacy of their family business as Stacey tries to rally his spirits. Later, Stacey goes to see Ruby and begs her to use any tricks she can to get the stall back, but Ruby refuses, determined to show she’s changed.

Elsewhere, Phil secretly arranges to get Billy out of financial difficulty by asking for Mo’s service in this plan.

Wednesday January 29

Yolande asks Nigel if he’s spoken to Phil about his dementia diagnosis yet, but he says no. As they work together at the soup kitchen, a woman called Norma comes in and starts chatting to Nigel. They are getting on well until Norma asks him out and Nigel bolts.

Stacey enlists Honey’s help to get Martin’s stall back. A warm moment between Martin and Stacey almost results in a kiss. They pull away before it goes too far, but Ruby has seen everything.

Meanwhile, Ravi flirts with Denise, who challenges him to find somewhere decent for them to spend time together.

Thursday January 30

Ian pushes Cindy to go to the police, but she’s determined to do things her way.

Ruby confronts Martin over what she saw, but he brushes it off. Martin tells Stacey about Ruby’s questions, and they agree it meant nothing. Later, Ruby asks Stacey if she has feelings for Martin, but she promises they are in the past.

Tensions are still high between Ravi and Nugget, especially when they broach the subject of scattering Nish’s ashes.

Ravi manages to get No.41 to himself so he can spend the evening with Denise, and gives Priya cash to take Avani out for a spa treat.

Elsewhere, Yolande tries to make Nigel see that he could have many good years ahead and shouldn’t shut himself off from people, such as new friend Norma. Meanwhile, Freddie lands a job at The Albert.
