Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash hint at new baby as they make big announcement
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have confirmed that their hit BBC One show will return for a second series, and the couple even hinted they could be adding to their family soon
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have been cheekily hinting they might just add another little one to their clan on the last episode of their smash BBC One programme.
Chatting about what’s been a jam-packed year during Tuesday (May 6) night’s show of Stacey and Joe, the ex-EastEnders star teased about some significant personal revelations heading our way in 2025: “Next year is the year of enlightenment for me, I’m going to find out who Joe Swash really is.”
Stacey replied with enthusiasm, “That’s exciting, babe.” The playful joshing didn’t stop there as Joe threw in a saucy suggestion, “Or maybe we can make another kid next year.”
But Stacey was quick to jest back at him: “I don’t think so. I don’t think we had sex in 2024. We haven’t seen each other”, reports the Mirror.
As the show came to a close, viewers were buzzing with excitement to hear the couple will be dishing out more glimpses into their life together with the confirmation of a second instalment of Stacey and Joe.
Expect to see it all in the upcoming series – from family getaways to the duo handling their jam-packed professional lives, side hustles, and those precious snippets from life at Pickle Cottage with their growing menagerie.
In a heartfelt statement, Stacey and Joe could barely contain their excitement: “The biggest thank you to every single person who watched the first series of Stacey and Joe.
“We are really touched by all the kind words and can’t wait to unleash another series with the BBC.”
The pair, who have both carved out careers in television, are parents to three children – Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two. Stacey is also a mother to sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships, while Joe has a son Harry, 17, with his former partner.
Their paths first crossed on I’m A Celeb in 2010, where Stacey emerged as the winner, while Joe was hosting the spin-off show Extra Camp, having been crowned King of the Jungle himself in 2008.
Key moments in their relationship include officially announcing they were an item in 2016, moving in together in 2018, buying a house in 2021, and merging their families along the way – all culminating in their wedding at home in July 2022.
