Stacey Solomon’s net worth soars past £7million after lucrative deal with Joe Swash

Stacey Solomon and partner Joe Swash are back with a brand new series for the BBC - and the mum of five has made no secret of the fact she wants her kids to earn their dough

Stacey Solomon is dead set on making sure her and Joe Swash’s brood work for their keep. The Sort Your Life Out sensation is hitting the BBC again with a fresh docuseries alongside her other half, Joe.

The dynamic duo are set to welcome viewers into their charming Pickle Cottage abode, where they’re raising their little ones Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, plus Stacey’s older lads – Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12.

In this upcoming show, the couple will peel back the curtains on their domestic bliss while giving their kids a shot in the spotlight. Stacey’s been crystal clear about her stance on her children earning their own dosh.

Chatting with The Mirror, she laid it out: “We don’t have some sort of inherited wealth that we can pass down for generations. It’s really important for them to know that this is our career and we will support our family in whichever way we can, but they are their own person.

Stacey’s net worth has increased hugely

“They’re going to have their own lives and they need to have their own dreams, careers and that doesn’t come from us giving them everything. It’s a constant battle. Sometimes I just want to throw the towel in and be like, ‘Fine, don’t do anything,’ because they’re teenage boys. I feel like I’m always on their back,” reports the Mirror.

Whilst Joe is famed for his stint on EastEnders, Stacey became a household name after her stint on The X Factor. In 2023, news spread that Stacey had hit millionaire status, having bagged her first million back in 2019.

Stacey’s wallet has been getting fatter since 2012 – amping up her reported net worth to a cool £5 million – and rumours earlier this year claimed she had scooped up a nifty half a million quid in the last year alone.

Stacey could pocket a sweet £12,000 for every sponsored post on Instagram, while her Tap to Tidy books kept the cash flowing in regularly. It was also claimed that Stacey was pulling in £27,000 per week.

If the rumours hold any weight, Stacey will be laughing all the way to the bank with an annual takeaway of £1,296,000. In their brand-new docu, drama unfolds as Stacey and Joe lock horns after he rocks up home late from a fishing spree.

Even though he was a whopping five hours behind schedule, he waltzes in saying: “There was an accident on the road… otherwise I would have been here in 20 minutes.”

Not having it, Stacey fires back: “You’re five hours late,” before laying it on him: “Sometimes I don’t think Joe realises the repercussions. It’s all a laugh and a joke but that meeting was really important to me.”

Joe and Stacey are all about keeping it real with their fans, keen on sharing the ups and downs, not just the good times.

“So many people paint their lives as pure perfection on Instagram. We feel we’ve got to keep it 100 – show the reality, the great times and the tough bits. It’s not always sunshine and rainbows. Yeah, we bicker too,” he said.

Stacey chimed in: “You might go to see somebody and talk through your relationship and they might give you advice, but you never get to witness when you’re bickering between each other. We found that really interesting. There’s definitely things in our communication where we’re like, ‘Wow, we could do that better. And we could talk about this more..’ It opens you up to the development of your relationship that you don’t always see, in everyday life, because a lot of the time you’re just trudging through to get to the next day.”
