Strictly crisis deepens after Jamie Borthwick made ‘vile remark’ hours before live tour

BBC’s Strictly is facing a new crisis after it was reported that EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick made a crude remark about a s.e.x act whilst he was a part of the show. The actor allegedly sent a message to the Strictly WhatsApp group chat hours before the live tour kicked off on January 17. Shocked fellow stars and professionals later referenced it.
According to The Sun, a source has now said, “Wynne made a jokey comment, which was borne out of Jamie looking like a spitroast chicken because of how he warmed up on Strictly, and he got fired. Jamie on the other hand boasted about engaging in a very explicit s.e.x act and no one batted an eyelid. His message was joked about afterwards as well, as it was a shocking thing for the stars and pros to read.

“Some of the Strictly lot think the BBC acted too hastily in removing Wynne, because in reality some of the cast were taking it a lot further.”
The BBC and a representative of Jamie have been contacted for comment.
It comes after Wynne Evans and Jamie were both featured in an explicit ‘s.e.x toy video’ during the Strictly live tour, two days before Wynne made a vile comment during a photo call. Wynne was later kicked off the tour and took time off from his BBC Radio Wales show to prioritise his wellbeing.
In recent news, Jamie has reportedly parted ways with his partner Chloe. The TV star, who recently competed on Strictly and the live tour, was reportedly dumped by his girlfriend after being together for a year after the scandal.
According to The Sun on Sunday, footage obtained by the publication shows the soap actor brandishing a s.e.x toy backstage with opera singer Wynne Evans. The EastEnders actor was joking as Wynne practised his dance moves behind him whilst topless.

The Sun has reported that Chloe called it quits on their relationship after the footage was released. An inside source said claimed Strictly was a “whirlwind” for the star, and when he finished the tour Chloe “felt like he didn’t have time for her” and decided to call it quits.
The insider added: “Seeing the video of him with the s.e.x toy and acting so weirdly made her realise it was the right choice. Jamie acts like a boy in a man’s body. She doesn’t have time for that.”
