Each week, The Oval Season 6 keeps surprising me. While I still fear it might collapse like Season 5, for now, I’m hooked.
Episode 5, Something to Hide, gets a solid 7/10. It was intense, but I was disappointed that the tunnel scene—after all the buildup—was completely skipped.
The women in this show are over-the-top manipulative and controlling—Priscilla and Nancy are unbearable! Lily might be the only one not self-sabotaging her marriage, yet she’s still caught in Donald’s web.
The Clarence situation was tense. Richard panicked, Dale was terrified and wanted out, while Nancy, despite her grief, kept her son’s secret. Priscilla, as annoying as she is, at least helped contain the mess when the cops showed up.
Meanwhile, Sam struggled with Priscilla—who burned all his clothes like in Waiting to Exhale! She even locked him out of the house, making things even messier.

At the White House, Kyle keeps scheming while Allan meets a mysterious woman named Rachel. Who is she? Something suspicious is brewing.
This episode maintained strong tension, but skipping the tunnel reveal hurt its impact. Hopefully, the next episode delivers the answers we’re waiting for!
