TV Choice Awards 2025 winners list in full as Emmerdale wins big and emotions run high

As the TV Choice Awards descended on London, the biggest soaps in the UK battled it out for the top gong, while there was emotions for the Best Food Show award

The stars were out in force on the red carpet at The Hilton on Park Lane, London, as the annual TV Choice Awards descended.

The event has become a highlight of the showbiz calendar saw glitz and glamour take their place on the carpet and in the audience as another great year in television was celebrated. And the glitzy ceremony saw some of Britain’s biggest celebrity names scoop the most coveted trophies in the industry, as voted by the British viewing public.

The ceremony marked its 28th year as Jason Manford made his debut stint hosting the ceremony. When it came to the gongs, Si King took home the Best Food Show prize for The Hairy Bikers Go West, the final series he made with his much-missed screen partner Dave Myers.

There was also a lot of love in the room for Brenda Blethyn, who took to the stage after being presented with an Outstanding Contribution Award. It came in recognition after she starred in 14 series as Northumberland’s no-nonsense detective, Vera.

For a number of TV favourites, there were more trophies to add to their haul, with the likes of Call The Midwife, Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! once again winners.

Meanwhile The Wheel triumphed for the first time as it won the award for Best Game Show. And it was a night of celebration for Channel 5, as alongside wins for two shows, it was crowned our readers’ Favourite Channel/Streaming Site.

In the drama categories, Mr Bates vs The Post Office’s success continued, as the series was named Best New Drama. Toby Jones also landed the prize for Best Drama Performance. And it was another good night for Emmerdale. Beth Cordingly won the Best Soap Newcomer award for her role as Ruby Fox-Miligan, while the show was named Best Soap again, following on from last year’s victory.
