Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Did Jordan Just Make Things WORSE For Andi?

Did Jordan Just Make Things Worse for Andy?

Hey everyone, welcome back! Think of this as part two of the video I did about Jordan getting arrested. But was it for murdering or attempting to murder Gary in the hospital? Because even though Andy finally got the position she’s been working toward—managing partner—the real question is: did Jordan just make things worse for her?

Now, I record so much content that sometimes I forget exactly what I say, but I do remember reading a comment on a recent video where someone said, “It’s like you’re blaming Andy for what Jordan did.” And I had to pause and think—did I ever say that? I don’t think I did, but correct me if I’m wrong.

What I did say was that maybe Jordan’s actions were influenced by his breakup with Andy. A couple of weeks ago, he realized their relationship was never going to work because Andy could never love him the way he loved her. And let’s be real—that’s largely due to her taste in men. But I never outright said it was Andy’s fault that Jordan went after Gary.

Instead, I suggested that Jordan might have felt like he had nothing left to lose. His sister had her heart broken, lost her baby—because of Gary. His own relationship with Andy never stood a chance—because of Gary. And on top of that, the whole attempted murder investigation ruined his career and got him removed from his campaign for city council, which he was actually on track to win.

Then his sister got arrested based on a flimsy confession, though thankfully, Robin got her out. And finally, Jordan accepted that his relationship with Andy didn’t work out—not because of her, but because of him. So, in his mind, Gary was the real problem.

And let’s be honest—Gary has screwed over a lot of people. This is basically the superhero dilemma: Should Batman just kill the Joker already? Because at some point, it’s like—why let him keep ruining lives? And that’s exactly the mindset Jordan had. He either succeeded or attempted to take Gary out once and for all.

What Happens Next?

Now, here’s the thing: we know Jordan got arrested. He’s in full orange jumpsuit mode, so it’s serious. But did he actually kill Gary, or was it just an attempt? We don’t know yet. Either way, it’s not looking good for him. Penelope even says, “Judge said no bail.”

And here’s where it gets interesting—how will this affect Andy? Because let’s not forget:

  • Jordan is her most recent ex.
  • He was caught trying to strangle her current fiancé.
  • Said fiancé is also the ex (and baby daddy) of Penelope, Jordan’s sister.
  • Oh, and Andy dumped another ex right before getting engaged to Gary.

Yeah, it’s messy.

Now, remember that police officer at the station—the Black woman at the front desk who gave Jordan a hard time? She’s the one who was like, “Oh yeah, you’re the guy messing with that young white girl, right? And you were running for city council until Andrea Barnes dumped you for her ex, who just so happens to be the fiancé and baby daddy of your sister.”

She’s honestly the audience in this situation, saying what we’re all thinking. And the fact that Jordan—a former promising city council candidate—is now arrested for attempting to murder a man in his hospital bed? That’s gonna be big news.

Will This Affect Andy’s Career?

Honestly? Probably not. Even though it should.

She just became managing partner, and while all this drama swirls around her, I doubt the writers will let it mess with her success. But still—she’s technically still engaged to Gary (unless that changed offscreen), and if he survives, what happens next?

  • Will he remember everything?
  • What about the federal investigations against him and his company?
  • What happens if he doesn’t remember, but Andy is still on his mind?

There are so many loose ends here.

Penelope vs. Andy—A New Feud?

One thing’s for sure—Jordan getting locked up is going to make Penelope hate Andy even more.

She already blames Andy for everything, much like Agent Watt, who is out here trying to pin anything on her. And from Penelope’s perspective, it makes sense.

  • She sees Andy as the villain.
  • She lost her baby because of Gary.
  • Now, her brother has thrown his entire life away over the same man?

And yeah, Jordan chose to go after Gary. But who told Penelope about that high school prom date drama that triggered Gary in the first place? Andy. Again, not saying it’s her fault, but she was the one who put that information out there.

And as for Jordan? He’s sitting in that jail cell, knowing that the one person Gary remembers through all of this… is Andy. And that was probably the final straw.

So yeah—he just made things way worse for himself.
