Gary is dastardly and surrounds himself with like-minded people, so it wouldn’t be surprising that he’d have so-called friends, henchmen, or whatever, who would turn on him because they want his money for themselves, even if it is ill-gotten.
Conspiring With Someone
Gary screwed over so many people that his enemies could be lurking everywhere. Hudson could be working for someone else, another government, or another underworld organization to take Gary out.
Tired of Being Gary’s Yes Man
Sometimes, when you’re an evil-doer, there comes a time when you just want to call the shots for yourself. There’s a lot of ego involved in villainy, and perhaps Hudson is just ready to do his own thing, but ᴋɪʟʟɪɴɢ Gary could potentially give him cred in the shady circles they run with.
