Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Miss Lisa Finally Puts Her Foot Down!
Is Miss Lisa Finally Putting Karen on Lockdown?
Alright, folks, let’s talk about it—is Miss Lisa finally about to put Karen on lockdown? Because let’s be real, this is something that’s been long overdue!
Miss Lisa Is Not Playing!
I was actually all for Miss Lisa in this episode. First, she shows up like:
🚪 “Hey, I’ve got some extra luggage, so I’ll be staying with you as long as needed.”
Oh snap! We all know what that means—Karen isn’t going anywhere!
Then, she shuts Pam down real quick:
❌ “No, we’re not doing that mess around here. You are NOT about to turn my daughter’s place of business into your personal playground.”
Pam was trusted to run the salon, and Lisa made it very clear that there would be no funny business under her watch.
The only misstep was when Karen casually mentioned she had a visitor, and Lisa immediately assumed it was Zach causing stress. Like, come on now—are we really still blaming everything on Zach?
Lisa Finally Gets Stern with Karen
Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but this is the first time I recall Lisa actually raising her voice at her own daughter.
And the timing is perfect because, during the episode, people on Twitter were saying, “Man, if only Miss Lisa was as stern with Karen as she is with Pam.”
Well, guess what? It’s happening!
Karen was about to call Pam to check on the salon, but Lisa shut that down instantly:
📞 “No, put that phone down. You’re supposed to be resting.”
🥗 “I’ll get you some food. I’ll go check on the salon myself.”
And the moment Lisa leaves?
Karen immediately starts looking for an excuse to escape.
She’s sitting there, eating, watching TV, and talking about:
📺 “Wait, doesn’t The Young and the Restless still come on?”
(A nice little soap opera nod.)
Then, Andy calls.
🚨 “Emergency! Let me put you on speaker!”
And Karen jumps at the opportunity:
🚘 “No, no, I’m coming! I’ll call for a car!”
She couldn’t wait to leave.
And trust me, she’s going to regret it in the next episode.
The Fallout: Lisa Is Not Playing This Time
Karen’s little emergency lasted all of five minutes.
She got up for nothing!
And when she gets back home?
Miss Lisa finds out.
👀 “So you just don’t care that the doctor said you need to be on bed rest?”
Karen tries to explain: “Well, Andy needed me…”
Lisa: “F* Andy.”**
💀 Oh, she really isn’t playing this time.
Because remember, back in Season 5, when Karen was in the hospital, Lisa stayed less than 48 hours before Karen convinced her to leave.
This time, though?
📌 Karen is further along in her pregnancy.
📌 Miss Lisa seems more determined than ever to keep her in check.
📌 And let’s not forget—Karen has no reason to be running around town anymore!
- She’s not popping up on Zach and Fatima anymore.
- Pam is handling the salon.
So what excuse does she have to leave now?
Final Thoughts: Karen Is Benched for the Rest of the Season
Honestly? Karen better get comfortable because she isn’t going anywhere.
And based on the episode synopses for Episodes 17-20, Karen isn’t mentioned in any of them.
Plus, with the show’s pacing, it looks like the rest of the season will cover the same day.
So yeah… Karen’s going to be on the bench for a while—and I’m okay with that!
