Tyler Perry's Zatima & Sistas

Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Why Is Andi Jealous About Penelope & Robin?

Andy, you’re surprised to see me here? Jordan, what are you doing here with her? You want to tell me what that’s about?

Okay, Sistas fans, this is an interesting question. Well, not really interesting, but quite obvious. The show is trying to stretch it out like it’s a big deal.

Next week, Jordan is confronting Andy. At first, I thought Andy needed to get over Gary, but apparently, it’s Robin she needs to move on from. When Jordan and Andy approach Penelope and Robin at the Billy Jake, the conversation will feel more like a confrontation. It seems like Penelope is putting on a show in front of Andy, and Andy’s response is defensive—maybe even throwing some jabs. Jordan picks up on the jealousy and starts wondering: Wait a minute, why is she getting in her feelings? Is she still into Robin?

Basically, Andy is reacting to Robin getting attention from another woman the same way Zach reacts whenever Aaron is being all loving with Karen. You know, rolling his eyes like, This guy, really? It’s the classic, You moved on, so why are you mad?

And honestly, this whole thing gives Danny vibes. Remember when she had a good man, Preston, but mistreated him, pushed him away, and then got mad whenever he moved on? That’s exactly the energy Andy is giving in this trailer. Jordan even calls it out: Is it Robin you need to get over? And Andy? She’s in denial. No, it’s not Gary!

But let’s be real—it is Gary. It’s an ego thing. She loves being chased. It’s the thrill. One minute Robin is pleading with her, Andy, I want to make you trust me, and the next, he’s saving Penelope. And when that happens? Andy is in the corner, watching, jealous. Then Robin says, You don’t have to call me Mr. Audrey, just Robin, and Penelope thanks him, full of gratitude. Andy? She just gets up and leaves.

Why? Because she’s jealous. But jealous of what, exactly? She was the one who attempted to kiss Robin. Back when he saved her from being dragged out of the penthouse by Agent Watt, she ran into his arms, initiated the kiss, but then stopped herself. Later, she told the girls, Robin tried to kiss me, and I stopped him.

Liar.

Technically, the chemistry is there, but she claimed, I’m still with Jordan. Technically? No, technically, she’s still engaged to Gary. She friendzoned Robin, and now that he’s moving on, she’s mad.

Tension really escalated when Gary showed up unannounced. He told her not to go back to the law firm, but she went anyway. Then the partners blocked her, leading to the slap in the face and all the unprofessional drama. Through it all, Robin kept trying to get her to see reason, but she refused.

Now? Robin is getting attention from another woman, and suddenly Andy feels like she has the right to be mad. Make it make sense.

And let’s not pretend this is just an Andy problem. We saw the same thing with Danny. We saw it with Zach when Fatima pointed out that Karen isn’t over him. He got that look like, Oh… yeah, I know… It’s all ego. They love the idea of still being wanted.

So now, when Jordan says, It’s Robin you need to get over, Andy lashes out: You’re just as delusional as your sister! The promo even shows her grabbing her purse, ready to leave.

And you know when Andy and Jordan sit down for lunch, Penelope is still going to be putting on a show, and Andy will be checking over there constantly, unable to handle Robin getting treated nicely by another woman.

It’s pathetic.

Because at the end of the day, it’s Gary she wants. I said this before—Jordan was just a placeholder, a nice, stable guy keeping her occupied until the man she really wants either gets his act together or until she decides, Okay, I’ve punished him enough.

I never believed Andy and Jordan were endgame. She kept saying, Gary put me through a lot, so I’m not trying to rush into anything, but the moment Gary gave her that ultimatum in the parking garage, she was back in the thick of it. This is the drama she lives for.

Gary brings excitement. Danger.

A safe guy like Jordan? Too boring for her.

Looking back at season 7, every issue in Andy and Jordan’s relationship came from Andy herself. Yes, the accusations against Jordan put a stain on her career, and she wanted to distance herself, but deep down, I think she saw this as another cat and mouse game. Another Gary.

So, no, Andy doesn’t need to get over Robin. She’s just mad that another woman is showing him attention. It’s Gary that’s on her heart, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Jordan, why are you even trying? Andy and his sister have already put hands on you. You should run.

These two are no good for each other. Stop pretending like they are.
