Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Will Andi Ruin Robin’s Life Next?
Sistas: Andy & Robin’s Kiss – A Goodbye or a New Beginning?
Well, folks, in probably my least favorite moment of this week’s Sistas trailer, Andy and Robin share a kiss. And honestly, I feel like this moment is just setting the stage for the season finale.
According to the synopsis for episode 22, Andy will have to decide whether to pursue a relationship with Robin before he leaves her life for good. (By the way, we still don’t have a synopsis for episode 21, London Bridges—what’s up with that?)
But here’s the thing: I don’t think this relationship works. Robin is heading back to the UK, and sure, he has a private jet and all, so in theory, it could work. But let’s be real—mixing business with pleasure has never ended well for these women, and Sistas has proven that time and time again.
Andy Doesn’t Deserve Robin—Period.
Now, at least Andy earned her place in the firm without Robin’s help. She became a partner based on her own merit, which is more than we can say for Dani’s whole leadership program mess. But that’s about the only good thing I can say about her in this situation.
I’ve said it so many times—if I had a dollar for every time I called out Andy’s entitled, ungrateful behavior this season, I could retire, pay off my debt, and never have to do YouTube again. Seriously.
After the one-month time skip, we have no reason to believe she’s treated Robin with anything but bitterness and coldness. And now, all of a sudden, when he mentions he’s leaving, she’s like, “Wait, you’re leaving?” Andy, girl, shut up. You had over a month to act like a decent human being to this man!
Robin Was Never the Villain
And what makes it even worse? Robin has been painted as the villain this whole time.
- People were acting like it was so suspicious that he showed up right after Gary got stabbed.
- He gave Andy’s caseload to Hayden.
- He put Fatima under Hayden.
- He suspended Andy, supposedly to push her out of the firm.
Then, after hearing some half-baked theory from Fatima and Zac that Robin was the stabber, Andy gets jealous when he successfully gets Penelope out of jail. She and Jordan start coming at him sideways, accusing him of being the attacker.
And then—this part still pisses me off—Robin confronts Andy, asks her to look him in the eye and tell him she believes he stabbed Gary. And she couldn’t even do it!
Instead, she slaps him, calls him an SOB, and when he tells her to take some accountability, she hits him with an “F you, Robin.”
I’m sorry, what?!
So Now She’s in Love With Him? Really?!
And now, after treating this man like garbage all season, she suddenly says she’s in love with him? Since when?! When did she fall in love with him? When did he fall in love with her?
I hate that the season finale is hinging on whether Andy will take Robin back when they weren’t even really together to begin with!
And honestly, Robin should move on. Penelope would be a better choice because Andy does not deserve this man.
But hey, if y’all disagree, feel free to argue your case. Tell me why you think Andy and Robin would be a good couple—but don’t just say “he treats her better than Gary” because that’s a low bar. I’ll read your comments, though I doubt they’ll change my mind.
What do you think about the kiss? Is it a goodbye or a new beginning? Let’s talk in the comments! And as always, like and subscribe, and I’ll catch you in the next video!
