Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Will Hudson K.i.l.l Gary?

Hudson’s Endgame: What’s His Plan and Does It Even Make Sense?

Well, folks, we’ve got Hudson pulling out a gun, and here’s the good news—at least if Gary or someone else gets shot, we’ll know exactly who did it. Unlike the whole stabbing incident, this time, there’s no mystery.

Now, in the trailer, Hudson randomly shows up at the office again, where Gary is waiting. Gary, clearly fed up, asks, “What is it going to take for me to get rid of you?” And Hudson? He responds coldly:
👉 “Everything you care for—including your life.”

Gary, unshaken, simply says, “Wow, been waiting for this for a long time.”

That leads us to the big question: What exactly is Hudson’s endgame here?

Hudson’s Motivation: What’s His Plan?

Obviously, he wants to k.i.l.l Gary. He’s desperate, he has nothing left to lose—or so he thinks. But when you break it down, does he really have nothing to lose?

Originally, his scheme with Marie was to take Gary out of commission, gain control of his assets, and sell them off to Marie. That way, he’d make money and get the feds off his back. But thanks to Hayden messing up his plan and returning power of attorney to Gary, Hudson is now completely stranded. Marie has kicked him to the curb, and she doesn’t care about his legal troubles anymore.

But here’s where things get weird.
💭 Did Gary actually have to d.i.e for Hudson’s plan to work?
💭 Why didn’t Hudson just sell the assets to Marie immediately after gaining power of attorney?

None of it makes much sense.

The Federal Investigation Mess

Hudson himself admits that he’s “up to his neck” in federal trouble due to the ongoing investigation from Season 7. Marie, meanwhile, is totally indifferent, basically saying: “Not my problem.”

This raises another question that fans have been speculating on all season:
⚡ Back in Season 7, Agent Watt was determined to take Gary down, using Andy and Penelope to testify against him.
⚡ Then, after the stabbing, the entire focus shifts from taking Gary down to figuring out who tried to k.i.l.l him.

So, a whole month passes, and now Hudson is drowning in legal issues. But here’s my real question:

👉 Is Gary out of legal trouble because his memories are still foggy?
👉 Are the feds unable to properly interrogate him or bring him to court?

It’s like the writers had big plans, but when you really think about it, none of it adds up.

Does Hudson Shooting Gary Even Make Sense?

Let’s assume Hudson actually pulls the trigger. What does he gain?

Does he think he’ll get away with it?
Has he planted cameras or tried to frame someone else?
Does he plan to k.i.l.l himself afterward because he has nothing left to lose?

Or maybe his logic is this:
💭 “If I k.i.l.l Gary, I regain power of attorney, sell the assets to Marie, and get the feds off my back.”

But even that barely makes sense.

Hudson’s Biggest Mistake?

If he’s so desperate, why would he shoot the one person who could actually serve as a fall guy for the feds?

Think about it:
⚡ If Hudson is drowning in legal issues, then Gary should be completely underwater.
⚡ Maybe Hudson wants to frame it like, “Gary shot himself because he realized there was no way out.” That could technically get Hudson off the hook.

But again… will any of this actually be explained?
