Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Will Jordan Die Because He Can’t Handle Life Behind Bars?

Is Jordan About to Meet His End? How Will It Impact Penelope’s Revenge?

“Can you promise me something?”
“Yeah, what’s up?”
“Take care of Penelope if anything happens to me.”

Wait… Jordan, hold on.

I know Tony, Rich, and Jordan aren’t exactly fan favorites, but I’d hate to see Jordan go out the way I think he might. Based on his conversation with Rich over the phone, things aren’t looking good. He’s been in jail for over a month now, and it doesn’t seem like he’s getting out anytime soon.

As Penelope pointed out, no attorneys, no public defenders—nobody’s seeing him. And it just keeps getting worse. Not only is he charged with assault, but according to what Fatima overheard Robin say, they’re trying to pin the stabbing on him too. Now, he’s facing an attempted murder charge.

At this point, there’s no way out.

Was Andy the Breaking Point?

I’m not blaming Andy, but after everything Jordan has been through, she might have been the final straw.

Think about it:

  • He watched his sister, Penelope, suffer at the hands of Gary. She lost her baby. She was betrayed.
  • His own relationship with Andy was doomed. She made it clear they could never work.
  • He could never receive love from her the way he loved her. She was too drawn to controlling men like Gary.
  • His political career? Over. He was a frontrunner for city council, and now, thanks to the attempted murder charge, it’s in shambles.

His love life was gone. His sister’s life was ruined. His future was destroyed.

And at the core of it all? Gary.

The Fatal Decision

Instead of letting the justice system handle things, Jordan made the worst choice possible—he took matters into his own hands. He went after Gary.

When he confronted him in the hospital, you could feel the rage. Gary had no idea who Jordan even was. The man responsible for tearing apart his life and his sister’s future didn’t even remember her—only that she was “the one who slapped me.”

That was it.

Jordan snapped. If his present and future were ruined, he decided Gary wouldn’t have one either.

Somehow, though, he got caught before he could finish the job. We never saw how it happened, but now he’s sitting in jail, facing attempted murder and seeing no way out.

Which brings us back to that phone call.

“Promise me one thing… take care of Penelope.”

Rich, sensing the desperation in Jordan’s voice, immediately grew nervous. Then Jordan hung up.

And now, we have to ask the question: Is he about to take his own life?

The Aftermath—A Storm Is Brewing

If Jordan dies, the fallout is going to be massive.

  • Penelope is not going to see this as his fault. She’ll blame Andy and Gary.
  • Rich already hates Andy. Tony does too, to an extent. If Jordan is gone, their hatred for her will reach new levels.
  • Penelope’s thirst for revenge will only intensify.

It’s almost like Jordan, Rich, and Tony were the Rowdyruff Boys to the Sister Circle’s Powerpuff Girls. (If you get that reference, you’re one of the cool ones.)

So, what do you think? Is Jordan about to die? And if he does, how will it impact Penelope’s quest for vengeance?
