Tyler Perry’s Zatima | Is Pastor Genter Zac’s Biological Father?!
Is the Pastor Actually Zach’s Father?
Okay, folks, aside from the theory about whether or not Jeremiah was lying when he told the congregation at the funeral that his mother was forced into inappropriate acts with Pastor Giner, there’s another theory floating around the internet:
👉 Could this pastor actually be Zach’s real father?
That would be an interesting twist—honestly, better than him being a pimp.
What Did Glattus Say About Zach’s Father?
Let’s go back to the end of Season 2.
- Zach convinced Glattus and Jeremiah to attend a therapy session with Dr. Reed.
- There, he asked about his father.
- Glattus straight up told him:
“Boy, I don’t know who your daddy was. He could’ve been a pimp for all I know. That’s why your last name is Taylor instead of Davis.”
She went on to say that she brought Zach as a baby to his supposed father, and the man slapped her so hard she fell to the ground.
And that’s pretty much all we know about Zach’s father.
Could the Pastor Be His Real Dad?
Now, I don’t think this is a situation where the pastor was a pimp, but let’s look at the clues:
- The Pastor said he knew Glattus since childhood—they went to school together.
- He even said Glattus introduced him to his wife.
- If that’s true, it makes sense they probably went to prom together, grew up, and eventually, he became a pastor.
- Would his wife really stand by him if he had gone from a mild-mannered schoolboy to a full-blown pimp? That doesn’t quite add up.
What Did Jeremiah Say?
Jeremiah made an interesting statement:
“My mom used to come in here and pray. She’d bring me and my brother.”
That means:
✅ Zach had already been born when she was visiting the church.
✅ But that doesn’t mean Glattus never went to the church before having Zach.
So, when Jeremiah said:
“After they prayed, she’d sleep with the pastor.”
…does that mean there’s a chance the pastor could be Zach’s father?
How Likely Is This Theory?
I’m not ruling it out completely.
But if I had to rate the possibility, I’d say 35% chance it’s true.
We still don’t know if Zach’s real father will ever be revealed, but if this theory turns out to be true, it would mean:
1️⃣ Jeremiah wasn’t lying at the funeral.
2️⃣ Zach’s mother was taken advantage of by a man she went to for spiritual guidance.
3️⃣ The pastor stepped out on his wife—and possibly fathered Zach.
