V.i.o.l.e.n.t Aaron corners abuser Anthony in Emmerdale after discovering he r.a.p.e.d Ruby
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) has made a heartbreaking discovery about Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) in Emmerdale.
Recently, Aaron spotted Ruby having a tense conversation with her father Anthony (Nicholas Day). He didn’t really discover what the chat was about, but he saw fear in Ruby’s eyes and started to grow concerned.
Aaron tried to find out information from Cain (Jeff Hordley), but because he had literally just found out about Ruby being s.e.x.u.a.l.l.y abused by her dad, and was worried about where Caleb (William Ash) had gone, he didn’t say anything.
This left Aaron determined to get some answers. In tonight’s episode, he found Ruby in the village in a panic. She was worried about Steph (Georgia Jay) and where she had gone, following a huge row with her.
Ruby tried to tell Aaron that nothing was going on with Anthony, but the longer the chat went on for, the more Aaron recognised Ruby’s terror in himself.
When Aaron was a child, he was s.e.x.u.a.l.l.y abused by his biological father Gordon. The evil man ended his life in prison, something Aaron has never really dealt with properly.
Reminded of his past as a result of Ruby’s trauma, Aaron decided to do something.
With that, he followed Anthony to the depot and confronted him. Inside, he told Anthony that they were now about to have a little chat.
Given Anthony will be d.e.a.d come the end of the week, will Aaron’s hatred push him enough to m.u.r.d.e.r?
Danny Miller explained: ‘He is instantly aggressive and destined for revenge, for Ruby, of course, but he sees his chance to level with Gordon who took “the coward’s way out” as Aaron calls it – k.i.l.l.i.n.g himself in prison.
‘He sees an opportunity to hand over Gordon (in Anthony) to the police – who will then serve his sentence in prison and give Ruby the justice she a) deserves and b) never had the chance of having himself.’
He continued: ‘I think it’s pure disgust and dread as to how he’ll deal with this and bringing back so many evil and dark memories for Aaron that he’d suppressed for so many years.’
‘Having experienced the same abuse and disgusting acts and never really got the justice he deserved or that Gordon (his Dad) deserved – the motive is there in plain sight!’
