The 33-year-old star, best known for her powerful portrayal of Whitney Dean from 2008 until her emotional departure in 2024, has returned to her musical roots and is now recording new tracks in the studio.
Whitney’s storylines captivated viewers for over a decade. Posting a photo and video of herself singing into a microphone, headphones on, and fully immersed in the moment, she revealed: “The two most special days in the studio with Amma and Steve Anderson, laying down a couple of tracks. It felt so good getting back behind the mic and dusting off the old vocals again. Excited to share with you what we created — all in due time.”

With such a powerhouse team behind her, it’s no surprise that fans and friends alike are buzzing. Held on March 27th at the iconic Clapham Grand, the evening promised to be a “chaotic, camp, and utterly unhinged drag cabaret tribute” to 40 years of EastEnders madness.
The venue was transformed into the Queen Vic for the night, with legendary soap characters like Pat Butcher, Sharon Watts, Vanessa Gold, and even the Queen Vic bust brought to life by some of the UK’s top drag performers. The audience was told to prepare for “high drama, big earrings, and Duffy moments galore” — and Shona didn’t disappoint, joining in for a surprise live performance that left the crowd roaring.
