EastEnders fans are convinced they've worked out who the father of Lauren Branning's baby is after she confirmed she was pregnant in Tuesday's episode of the BBC soap
Soap fans think they’ve worked out a massive paternity plot twist in EastEnders after Lauren Branning’s surprise pregnancy revelation.
Lauren clocked she might be expecting a baby during the Tuesday’s episode of the BBC serial drama just weeks after being caught out in the nightclub crush at Peggy’s.
In the midst of fretting over her well-being, Lauren was down at the doctors getting told to ease off the painkillers for her injury woes.
It was Anna Knight who put two and two together, suggesting Lauren might have a little bun in the oven. Lauren wasn’t having any of it at first but she later took a pregnancy test and received a positive resulteports the Mirror.
Lauren had gone back to her ex Peter around the time she was all caught up in the crush and she told Anna that having a baby was off the cards ’cause Peter “hadn’t been near her” since her ordeal. Then came a shifty look and a sharp exit before she did a home pregnancy kit.
She had been talking about her periods being a bit hit and miss too and fans are convinced that Peter is not the father of the child following her night of passion with Zack Hudson (James Farrar).
Despite the timeline suggesting it’s not likely since Lauren and Zack hit the sheets at the end of April but fans are sniffing around for some juicy drama. One nosey fan took to X to share: “Peter ain’t been near me? ? ? Sorry don’t tell me Lauren is having Zack’s baby… didn’t they sleep with each other MONTHS ago.”
Another said: “The question is how Lauren tell Zack she’s pregnant and how will Zack react.” Meanwhile, a third added their two pence with: “Blimey didn’t Lauren use protection with Zack? ” along with another chiming in with speculations about Zack’s future plot: “Zack’s storyline will be having Lauren’s baby.”
