‘work out’ true identity of Kim’s solicitor Peter in shock Tate DNA twist
Emmerdale’s Peter is determined to bring Kim Tate down and now fans have ‘rumbled’ his real identity - and she is in for a surprise
Kim Tate’s financial advisor Peter is lying about his identity, Emmerdale fans have claimed.
Peter (David Michaels) rocked up to the Dales this year, following Kim and Will’s (Dean Andrews) messy split. Fans will recall how Will cheated on Kim with his ex Rose (Christine Tremarco).
Will was then blackmailed – only for it to be revealed as Kim, who knew everything. Since then, the couple have come to blows, while engaged in a bitter divorce.
Kim then hired financial advisor Peter in a bid to help keep Will’s hands over her fortune. The pair ended up sleeping together, which made Will jealous. And Kim’s plan worked as he lashed out at Peter in a rage.
What’s more, this week Kim enlisted the help of bad boy Ross Barton (Mike Parr) to force Will out of the village for good – but not to kill him. Things took a dramatic turn thought, when a showdown took place between Will and Ross, with Will smacking his head off a nearby rock.
Fearing he was dead, Ross later told Kim – who was devastated. In a shock twist though during Monday’s episode (November 25), it turned out Will was alive – and rocked up to Kim’s house.
Still in shock over thinking Will was dead, Kim immediately called off their feud and divorce – something Will also agreed to do. However, later on Will was seen meeting up with none other than Peter. It was then revealed that Will and Peter had been in cahoots for months, as part of a plot to take down Kim.
Having a change of heart though, Will called off their plan. But a vengeful Peter wasn’t having it and warned that if Will backed out, he would reveal all to Kim about what he’s been up to.
Now, fans are convinced they know who Peter really is – and Kim is in for a shock. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “I hope we’re gonna see Kim and Will back as a team. Will tell her straight away and them taking out the trash that is this lawyer.”’
In the comments section, other users soon shared their theories on who Peter is, as someone mused: “Hmmm I don’t trust Peter.” A second person chimed in and mused how Peter could be a long-lost child or relative of her ex-husband Frank (Norman Bowler).
The fan penned: “Anyone else think they are going down the Caleb route and Peter is really some Tate that wants revenge on Kim?” A third wrote: “Definitely some sort of relative I think.” A fourth penned: “Yes, he’s definitely up to something.”
